BCCOHP Cultural Safety Expectations
CE Requirement

As part of maintaining your BCCOHP license in good standing, all RDTs/LDTs are required to demonstrate ongoing competency in cultural safety, humility, and anti-racism (Principle 3.4). Rather than requiring a single fixed course, BCCOHP embeds this expectation directly into your annual Quality Assurance Program (QAP). When completing your annual renewal and QAP self-reflection, please log how you are staying informed in this area—for example, by engaging with free BCCOHP Lhéq’lomet Learning Toolkit online modules. Continuous learning and reflection in cultural safety are mandatory parts of our professional standard!
